Falmouth Farm & Stables brings people together around their interest in horses. Whether for boarding and riding, or having a home close to their horse, FF&S is a community that supports equestrian recreation at its best, and preserves ever-shrinking land for the horse lover. Named for some of the area’s earliest residents from Falmouth, England, FF&S continues their practices of land stewardship and sustainable development.
Central to FF&S is the equestrian center complex with two stables which can board up to 45 horses. Each stable has roomy stalls, wash racks, and humidity controlled tack room facilities, and the new equestrian center has an indoor arena, round pen and full feature club house.
If you decide to purchase one of the 22 available two acre homesites, you will become a member of Falmouth Farm & Stables Community Association. Homesite owners can design, build and enjoy their own home on two scenic acres and share ownership of the nearly 600 acres of common property with the other Falmouth residents. With ownership comes membership in the Falmouth Stables Club, which provides access to a clubhouse facility for parties, exercise and social gatherings. With membership comes preferred rates for Club sponsored activities.
Considered by many to be the most beautiful part of Wisconsin, Iowa County offers such variety in its landscape that it provides trails for any level of rider. Many area activities support recreation such as golf and hiking in state parks, and easy access to the arts including the American Players Theatre, and Madison’s Overture Center. Iowa County is where Frank Lloyd Wright built his summer home calledTaliesin, which is only a few minutes drive from Falmouth Farm & Stables.
